We have a Full Moon in Capricorn on 13th July 2022 at 19.37.

There are some exact aspects at this Full Moon such as Venus square now retrograde Neptune, and Venus in trine to retrograde Saturn. Mercury is coming into a sextile to Uranus in a day of the full moon.

With these aspects we can expect I think some surprising revelations, information being revealed. This goes hand in hand with a full moon, a time of culmination, and also later in the month with the important Mars-Uranus-North Node conjunction.

The planets are shifting gears; June was about breakthroughs, and the energies were fast paced. July is slower, some of the planets are now retrograde also. They are each taking turns to bring about internal and external shifts. It’s like the planets are doing a dance to stretch and integrate, heal and release.

This full moon is important as its degree point is at 21 degrees, triggering the 22 degree point of the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in January 2020, which effectively kick-started in earnest all of the chaos we are now immersed in. So, this could make us revisit some of 2020, if only in our minds, or support us to complete processes from that time.

With Cancer season underway, we have an emphasis on lunar consciousness. We also have a slower pace, more grounded and in our feelings, or emotions, and more protective stances. The energies in July though build up to the important conjunction of Mars-Uranus-North Node all in Taurus. This is triggered by Mercury and the Moon also at different points in the month.

Saturn is also in a laborious square to the Mars-Uranus-North Node, giving it a challenging edge. Financially, with this configuration, things are not going to get easier, and adjustments or plain global changes are on the horizon. Change is coming and of course that aspect also has deeper implications for our connection with our body and other resources, including the Divine as a resource.

With the Nodes involved, we can expect big realisations. But most of this is enmeshed with big changes in the external of our lives, which then force the internal shifts of adjustment to reality. When people are not willing to face themselves, unfortunately the force of the change needs to be greater.

I spoke of the importance of lunar consciousness back in 2015; that for our healing process, we need to mine the shadow. This is the route to the solar consciousness. Spiritual bypassing and side stepping the actual work is common place now. But now we can side-step no longer.

We need to work with the lunar consciousness, arouse or acknowledge it’s presence in us, to stand a chance of integrating the lunar and solar, the feminine and masculine within us. This month is a great time to go into the lunar space.

In practical terms, this is a relearning. To come into balance, we need to direct our energies or attention downwards. Our spiritual fire abides in our sexual energies, and these can run havoc with our addictions and everything else.

The correct path, as much as we like to be structured and rigid about it, is to move into balancing these energies by moving into a descent to its home. We need to learn to take our energy and attention inwards, rather than do the usual thing of moving it outwards and upwards, which is the world’s conditioning.

So this is a global process forcing that internalisation, descending process, to transmute from below. The deepest, lowest part of the astrology chart is the nadir, ruled by lunar Cancer. It is the work we do with our emotions, thoughts, body, the collective unconscious and ancestral energies and even the energy dynamics of the personality through astrology is lunar. It is the mining of the shadow, which most have not done.

Beyond this is the solar consciousness work, the transpersonal work, and beyond that also is the Divine creation point of our entire universe, the seed, the point of creation. Delving into the lunar consciousness, then bringing that together with the more transpersonal work of the Divine, working it into our lunar consciousness, this way we are combining the power of the worlds, the aspects of our polarised consciousness.

Now with the Mars-Uranus-North Node conjunction, we have a powerful activation of a very high level of consciousness. What that will look like is not quite available right now, but it is guiding us towards our purpose, our destiny, regardless of choices made, this is unavoidable. All will take us full circle, back towards unity. For at the origin and end, all differentiation ultimately merges towards unity.

This is important to hold onto, but I don’t think we will know why until the year end. But needless to say it’s all taking us into quite profound levels of comprehension, should we be open to it. And certainly, it’s reinstalling the truth, the highest truth, which is Uranus, back into our world. That of the truth of the eternal and the ephemeral, with us meditating in the middle.

Some of the ways to work with the material that’s coming up in us; allow the darkness to be present and work with it, consciously and willingly surrender/submit then it turns what’s against you into an ally, and accepting this slowness, as well as moving more from below.

Whatever we find destructive in us is there to be unfolded and understood more deeply. Develop some reverence for the raw and primal forces moving through us currently. Some of us need to embody them and bring them out, they catalyse life and those around us.

So some high and deep stuff can emerge at this full moon and even more so towards the end of this month. Be open to receiving and deepening in this more lunar consciousness phase.

If we really want to be free, and on track, we need to know it’s going to be a struggle. It takes balls. The wishy washy New Age pseudo-consciousness which pushes cosmic-!ness and obviates inner development and inwardness is on its way out, whether we like it or not.

Things are disintegrating around us. Structures, no matter how stable, principled or seemingly of goodness, need to enfold in on themselves. This wave of change goes by its own principles and laws, and we need to start working out what these processes are really about. Asking ourselves new questions.

The upcoming aspects beginning around 15th with Sun-Mercury firstly inconjunct Saturn (Venus also in conjunct Pluto), then squaring Neptune and later opposing Pluto on 19th, means these days could be more than a little stressful.

Chiron also turns retrograde on 19th with the Moon conjoining late in the day. This is a day that could bring in power struggles and feel quite raw. As the personal planets are now in hard aspect to the outer planets, there’s a chance of some disruption to whatever plans are made. This just amplifies towards the end of the month with the Mars-Uranus-North Node. Not an easy month of it.
