We have a very visceral Solar Eclipse in Cancer on 13th July 2018 at 1.47 pm GMT. First of a series of three eclipses, the next two are in Aquarius and Leo. Usually they come in pairs, but this is a group of three, every five years or so.

This set runs solar, lunar then solar eclipse, spaced out every two weeks. The eclipse signs are in the process of shifting from the Leo-Aquarius to the Cancer-Capricorn axis.

Eclipses are cosmic wild cards, multidimensional events in the space-time continuum which create a door into the subtle realms of existence. They connect us with the past, present and future, opening up a cosmic wormhole.

Eclipses are encoded with conscious life force – far more than we consciously perceive, including gravity waves, light frequencies, ionic ratios and the mineralogical vibrations of the planet. Our physical bodies have cellular biological consciousness, so our hormonal and bio-chemical balances are directly impacted by the light and matrix of our planet Gaia.

There needs to be an understanding that rather than the body being an inconvenience in this process of awakening, it is the vessel and is instrumental in the process of awakening. We discover the vastness of who we are through our embodiment and physicality not in spite of it.

Through this awareness we naturally begin to shift our daily rhythms to spend more time in states of relaxation. It helps to understand that taking in food, water and materials free of toxin supports the process of clearing, supporting activation and anchoring of new photonic light.

This Solar Eclipse is very visceral, physical and integrative. With the Sun-Moon conjunction opposed by Pluto, the God of the underworld, there will be no prisoners when it comes to transformation at the emotional, body and soul level. His processes are always very felt and real. The question we need to ask is why do we perhaps need that right now?

The set up of this eclipse – with many planets in retrograde motion or about to turn retrograde motion over the next couple of months, lends for some intense processes that are forcing deep core change, change that perhaps we have been avoiding or yearning for for lifetimes and generations of ancestors.

The issue with Pluto figuring so strongly and incessantly at this eclipse is that we are being given less choice. We can go into more denial but this will pile on the pressure and increase the suffering over the next few months or we can dive head long into the healing process. It’s up to us.

Eclipses often bring uncontrollable and unpredictable changes where we feel at the mercy of events, like we have no power to control anything, although we always have choice how we respond to what happens in our lives. The changes that are happening at the moment with those souls who are ready for healing can be quite intense.

We are being pushed into a place where we need to say no to what we don’t want in our lives now to bring a different reality towards us. With this Cancer eclipse, we are confronting our needs from a very deep place and having to choose differently from a place of self-care and love.

It is important to bring more of your ‘no’ in now. Saying no helps the universe bring you exactly what you want. When you say no to things, you also say yes to things. The distorted new ager idea that you just need to say yes to everything in life is a thing of the past. There are now some areas of our lives where it feels like enough is enough and so change has to happen.

Part of this is facing up to our basic human nature. We are so disconnected from what it means to be an embodied human being. Pluto, with his realms of sex, death and survival bring us back into deep contact with our human nature.

All the repressed patterns around avoiding our humanity – not feeling emotions, not being in relationship with others, being on digital devices all day, not connecting with nature, taking only pharmaceutical drugs to get better, not addressing your issues with sex (the creative force of our being), fear of death or dying or even change or spiritual connection – all of this is going to start coming up from a deep place. On top of that, anything that is deeply repressed, like self-loathing, deep insecurities, cannot be avoided easily over the next few months.

Some of us are at a precipice. Often when we start dealing with our birth trauma – and every birth has trauma in western society since all births are traumatic when women are disconnected from their body’s bliss and the ecstasy of childbirth. Giving birth is a process of opening up our consciousness in a massive way but it often brings up the old traumas. We are getting ready for a massive rebirth.

This eclipse has the Sun-Moon in opposition to Pluto which strongly emphasises the role of the ancestral line in our healing or recognition of the suffering contained there. The paternal and maternal generations going back have experienced immense suffering – which we are often directly disconnected from but which bleeds through with the fears, limitations, issues, sabotages and everything else undesirable, without our conscious awareness of it’s origin.

Whatever is arising for you from the depths of your unconscious, in a way is supporting you to get clearer on who we are, what we need to support the process around that – and it could feel like the beginning of a long term process – so we can become ultimately liberated from the distortions and illusions.

Mars retrograde in Aquarius is reckoning the past, bringing it into the present very clearly and viscerally for us to face. One of current indicators that everything we thought we knew about our body, our cells and DNA is up for question. Our chronic family inheritances and patterns that create the issues in our life are contained within our genetic encoding, we can change these encodings.

Our bodies and cells are fluid, responsive systems connected to the whole. When we can begin to heal that connection and work with the challenges of that connection seriously we are on our way towards a much easier life. Our body is an intricate system with many channels of experience that support us to know what’s working and not working for us.

The entire process we are in is one of rediscovering and reconnecting with our humanity. This digital, robotic age has placed technology rather than human beings at the centre. We are walking around like zombies in an enmeshment with collective norms and social patterns. We are being challenged to bring free from the group mind that controls our individual expression of identity.

It could be that a lot of this group thinking mentality is tied up with wounds in the past. The depotinisation of the feminine, which results in the disconnection from community, feelings, our bodies and our very souls is the larger process behind these wounds of collective enmeshment.

Since when we are stuck in a group mind way of thinking we can’t see what we need for our deeper soul happiness. Mars retrograde in group mind Aquarius is getting us to rethink our engagement with anything that doesn’t allow for our individuality and freedom of choice. We are not on this planet to be like robots. Our minds and bodies are our own.

The emphasis on the Leo North Node is about participation in the world, with other human beings, not spiritual bypassing. Life is for participation, this is what makes us human.

The new reality is one where we are in tune with nature, working with it’s seasons and cycles. This is about being in life, and navigating the challenges of human relationships, not observing from the sidelines.

There is a distinct sense of sudden transitions as we are shifting from one way of being in life, into another. You might notice that it’s easier at times to bring yourself into your relationships, more intimately, with Jupiter in deep, intimate, sexual Scorpio just turned direct. In the same guise, it might also feel easier to detach yourself from things and people that don’t resonate with you anymore, not necessarily a permanent disconnection, but one where you are choosing what you want to align with in the moment.

The back and forth movement of Chiron and Uranus across the late and early degrees of Pisces/Aries and Aries/Taurus, combined with all the retrograde planets this year is creating an unusual but liberating in between dimensions state, between dissolving, lower timelines, and fully anchoring a new reality. Although this new reality is not outside, its only inside us, for those who have done the work.

This eclipse supports the flowing back and forth between realities and negotiating the painful reality that many other people are yet to catch up. This can be a very inspiring and creative time if we choose to fully embody and participate in the world. But to fully be present here in this world, we need to gather all our multidimensional fragmented consciousness that is caught up in other dimensions and timeframes.

The structures and rules we’ve come to live our lives by are beginning to dissolve. The top down status quo which we have been so dependent upon will be further deconstructed through 2019 and reach a culmination with the Saturn-Pluto conjunction of 2020 and beyond into 2023 when Pluto enters Aquarius changing the balance of power.

Groups of all sorts – families, companies, tribes, cliques – are being shaped by deep, far-reaching processes of change. The eclipse is at 20 degrees Cancer, and wherever 18-22 degrees Capricorn falls in your birth chart and the aspect these degrees make to other planets and points in your chart is where you can create more personal freedom, a sense of identity and full presence and embodiment as opposed to being just a part of the collective mind.
