This powerful moon is full in Pisces at 6.37 pm GMT on 29th August 2015. The Sun is in its opposite sign Virgo conjunct the benevolent planet Jupiter (exact on 26th), which is the traditional, co-ruler of Pisces before Neptune, its modern ruler, was discovered. Both Neptune and Jupiter contribute to Pisces characteristics. Jupiter represents the more worldly aspect, while Neptune is the more transpersonal aspect of Pisces.

Venus and Mars are travelling together now until mid November. More specifically, they are potently connected now and the end of October. Here we have the combination of the feminine and masculine energies whose tumultuous relationship has so dominated our planet over the last few thousand years.

This relationship is experienced both internally and externally as we work to bring these polarities into a creative dynamic interplay that shifts us beyond duality third dimensional consciousness into crystalline, androgynous consciousness.

The other focus at this full moon is Jupiter and Neptune, not just because they both rule Pisces, but also because they are aligned with this full moon. Here we have a Sun Jupiter conjunction and a Moon Neptune conjunction, the Sun and Moon standing in opposition as at all full moons. Jupiter and Neptune are gearing up for their opposition on 17th September, which will dichotomise Pisces energy.

Jupiter expands whatever it comes into relationship to, in this case it’s highlighting the unconditional love and unity consciousness of the Neptunian Divine Feminine. Jupiter will be striving toward the perfect vision and Neptune projects the envision.

Both ask us to see the bigger picture and not get caught up in too much Virgo analysis paralysis or doing in order to be. The question then becomes do we seek to aspire to attain our potential and seek to manifest our purpose or do we surrender to the process and receive our purpose? How do we balance doing with being.

Part of the answer is that we need to allow the being to dictate the doing. The Venus feminine principle, that has been so supressed heeds that do less and be more. Venus is Shakti – a creative, stimulating, inspirational planet that revolves around penetrating Mars. The two function in unison, co-creating, co-existing.

The question then needs to be how these two forces exist in us? Are we accepting of our desires or do we repress them in fear? Are we passionate with our self-love, or do we tend a meagre flame? How and where does the creative principle get distorted in our lives? When we move forward with things, are we dogged in our determination and push everything else aside? Do we work to exhaustion? Are we closed or open, determined or scattered? Do we hold back our creative self-expression because we live in fear or do we allow ourselves to jump over the edges in our identity and try things that feel ‘not us’.

It’s time to take some chances and move beyond the precipice over the next few months. It’s more important that we notice what takes our energy away from us – what we give it and where it doesn’t naturally regenerate itself within. Energy depletion can be a subtle and not so subtle phenomenon – we often know what we need to change but just prefer not to. Working out why that is, is one of the keys.

In our external manifestation of Venus Mars in the world, so many are seeking their twin flame, their masculine or feminine counterpart which they believe will complete them (there’s nothing wrong with this search by the way). But what about the internal twin flame counterpart within? Women in particular are so eager to seek out their other half so they can receive the love they feel will give them the self-worth and completion they are seeking. When we actually explore this deeper, we wouldn’t care if we had a man in our lives, as long as we are happy. Turning it around so we strive to be happy – rather than seeking the object of our desires (distorted Venus) – is where we need to focus our Mars energy.

The Divine Mother asks that we make a discipline, a habit out of ‘becoming’ love. Cultivating this within is a joint enterprise lead by ‘being’ Pisces which translates into ‘doing’ Virgo. Virgo asks that we start to treat our bodies like we love them – exercise, diet, healing. Our earth, otherwise known as Beloved Virgo, is a garden of love full of medicine plants, pure air, water and rich earth. This is the food to receive for soul healing. And we are generators of love, quite easily capable of self-healing.

Mars and Venus intertwined together, travelling through Leo teach us all about self-love and with it our understanding or misunderstanding of it. Real self-love is quite the opposite of self-centredness. Self-love is not the same as self-indulgence. Self-indulgence feeds the emotional body and with it all it’s old past stories and memories. It places our history on repeat.

Self-indulgence is the type of love where we are alone and separate on a stage. Synergised Leo/Aquarius energies ask us to embrace the auditorium too, our centre expanded. Self-love is about connecting with the inspirational energy of Venus, that give fuel to our soul. Emotional junk food ensures we keep processing our memories, chewing on them like a cow. This difference has a big impact on the emotional body, and in particular the kidneys.

We need to correct our understanding of Divine unconditional love to include a definition of self-love that receives fully first in order to give completely (receiving to give – being to doing- Venus to Mars). This is a reorientation of ourselves so we avoid getting lost and confused by doing too much or disappearing too far to the other side in avoidance of the doing.

We must start looking for confirmation that we are lovable from the outside – this just exhausts us further. We need to remember that we need to become love itself and then receive the love that we are.

Cultivating an individual relationship with the Divine Mother is great until we come to realise She is inside of us at all times. Our biggest wound is one of separation consciousness, (highlighted with the ongoing Chiron Neptune conjunction), resulting indistortions and wounds on both sides of the Venus-Mars polarity.

Women have been held down and held back, the body and sacred sexuality has been desecrated. Men strive to be feeling-less in a world that rejects feeling. The self-judgment, anger and tension that exists in our body is our project for the next year.

The Pisces full moon serves us best if we spend the time to take our awareness inwards rather than getting pulled into the collision or illusion of the outside world – projects, goals, entertainment and business. In true Pisces style, we are here to receive, to open up and let ourselves be filled with light. This doesn’t stop us being out in the world serving but what we need is not out there, it’s in us and we are It.
