The Moon is Full in Libra on 19th April 2019 at 11.12 am GMT. At the zenith 29° of the Aries-Libra axis, this a significant Full Moon. This is the second Full Moon in Libra this month, and it follows the fifth in a series of five consecutive full moons at zero degrees.

There is an enigmatic and prophetic quality to this Full Moon, it’s difficult to make sense of much under these energetic circumstances. Don’t aim for the big answers, focus on getting the little ones under your belt.

The atmosphere around this Full Moon is rather unusual, both intense, and serene at the same time. Perhaps it’s the calm before the storm, although we have felt much turbulence the last week or so, so perhaps it’s the calm after the storm, before we ride the next wave.

The Sun is edging towards a conjunction with Uranus in a few days, so while this Full Moon has an Uranus edge to it, picking up the Uranus, some of us will be experiencing the shocks or revelations in our personal lives even before this Full Moon.

We can expect it’s ripples to be active for the entire month, because of this zenith, critical degree that it occupies. The zenith degree means it reaches further, into the next sign and the sign before, so this energy has been culminating for some time and will continue way beyond it’s exact orb.

There’s both a creative and disruptive feel to this Full Moon in Libra. It’s likely that we will be accessing both ends of the spectrum in different areas of our lives. It’s feeling like new territory, especially since the Sun is about to make it’s way into Taurus, bringing with it another layer of awakening. We are seeing the old distintegrating and new arising.

Two days that should stand out this month are 22th – 23th April when the Sun meets Uranus but also Venus meets Chiron.

The Sun conjuncts Uranus brings unexpected, shocking events into our lives. It can also be an incredibly creative and exhilarating time where we break free of limitations that we either place on ourselves or experience others or systems placing on us.

By staying receptive to seeing a different way or something new or unexpected leading the way, remaining relatively detached and curious about what’s being asked of us, we will have a better change of aligning with the direction that’s just right.

The following day Venus forms a conjunction with Chiron which brings up issues in relationships and finances, bringing with it a potential for a new beginning and healing. It’s very easy right now to act in a way that wounds those you are relationship with, so take care. Avoid seeing what you have or do not have – your resources – as a reflection of your innate worth. It’s just not a easy time for keeping things as they once were – a lot is in flux and transition.

We are being deeply challenged to connect with our sense of self-worth, security and stability from a place within, not from any forms outside. The battering that we keep on getting astrologically is deeply intense and is taking things away from us that we have out grown, in respect to a need for external safety, security, identity and stability.

A lot is lingering in the personal, public and political spheres. It’s difficult to find resolution. In fact resolution isn’t even being sort. It’s almost impossible to find one. We are I think so used to having no resolution now that a part or all of us have given it up.

Resolution though cannot be forced, it’s something that comes with its own sense of timing, perhaps even Divine timing. The learning and growth that happens in the process of being patient is what we are after. But our relationship to resolution, closure, knowing and truth is interesting at this time.

Are we accepting things, or wanting things to be different? Especially in respect to the change we want to see in our own lives. Do we try and fit the one size fits all “I must accept myself as I am”, or go into a battle with the stance “I must change myself”?

Can we occupy both spaces at the same time, as both are accurate and needed. The acceptance and embracing of ourselves as enough as we are, while simultaneously knowing that some things need to really change for us to be or feel happier. It’s a difficult bridge to build or straddle.

Can we accept that things are constantly changing, all the time, that every moment is a moment of change, of a new reality or opportunity to be another version of ourselves – not necessarily better, just another aspect, that fosters more of our wholeness emerging.

How are you growing through this process of deep internal and external change? What are you resisting and what are you pushing for? Where do you need more awareness?

We are also being challenged to not resist change. But there’s a lot of it in the air. Clinging to the past is not useful, the more we cling, the more we will be forced to let go. While present commitments do matter, we need to consider that these commitments might need adjustment.

Jupiter has turned retrograde and is pretty much stationary and will be moving backwards until 11th August.

There are two other planetary retrogrades this month – Pluto on 24th until 2nd October and Saturn on 30th until 17th September. At the moment they stand at 3 degrees a part in a close conjunction giving us a small flavour (although it might not feel small) of what we can expect January 2020 when we have the big conjunction of Saturn and Pluto (which includes the planetary Pluto and Saturn nodes).

This has not actually happened in recorded history. The last time we came close was 783 AD and the last opposition of Pluto-Saturn, without any nodes involved heralded the beginning of the 2nd World War. So it’s serious stuff that we are collectively and individually confronting now.

The soon to be Pluto and Saturn retrograde in Capricorn, on the South Node of Cancer-Capricorn axis, brings up old karmic history and collective human stories around truth and illusion, form and the unknown.

After the Full Moon, we almost finally have Neptune out of the game play, clearing up a lot of the surface confusion. But it’s not until we get through the final square between Mars and Neptune around 27th that we are out of the woods and start to really gain some traction.

The sense after the Mars-Neptune square is that we have more of an idea of where we are going, although not a full sense yet, and probably still little clue how we are going to get there. Many more do not know where they are heading yet.

This for some might be interpreted as what we want is just not going to happen, for if you don’t know how to take the steps, or what’s involved, or you feel blocked with obstacles, what can you do but feel frustrated?

This is where we need to trust and dive deep into the Divine process of things to work things out in the perfect timing – something we cannot fully envisage with our human minds. It sounds simple, and it is, with the caveat that we have been working to raise our consciousness. It becomes more challenging to handle the influx of light and new, higher levels of reality when we have not worked on ourselves. It’s easy to fall into fear when the extremes in levels, polarities and dimensions are being played out in every corner of our personal lives and global news. Those that are ready are probably deep in the thick of it, sifting through the learning and process.

Fear is what ties us down, into a lower vibration, lower consciousness expression that grapples to hold onto to what is known, tried, tested and on the surface safe in our world. But we do not need fear fear. The security blankets and safety nets are being taken away though. We are ready for this.

Things do not look straight forward right now, whether it’s limited resources, intense emotions, blocks in the way, unclear sense of direction, relationships that don’t work but there seems little way to change things. Do not fret, it will become clearer, keep trusting in what your heart knows needs to happen. The secret is to keep unfolding the internal processes, let them be what they are and yet have the intention to change your reality if you don’t like it.

If you have no idea what needs to happen as everything is so uncertain, then you are being asked to journey into a much deeper surrender – well done – you are now ready for that.

Work through all levels of your reality, all your human and spiritual channels of your experience, experience more of yourself, so you know yourself in all it’s versions. This way you will discover you are not ‘one thing’ to accept, but you are change itself, constantly vacillating, yet with a deep inner core that can’t be destroyed.

Our pursuit of form and achievement in the guise of Saturn, our resistance to truth, is made harder if we refuse to surrender to the unknown and uncertainty of Pluto. Uncertainty and the unknown are the forces of change, submit to these forces, allow the forms you have built, the illusions of reality, whatever they are, to be destroyed by Pluto.

Put the cradle of your power in the universe and the Divine rather than think you need to be invulnerable to the universe’s forces. Sometimes we just need to just let go, soften and trust in the force that moves through it all. Afterall, it has our back.
