For us all, something is feeling done. This could be a completion point arising from new information gained recently, or a realisation emerging from the depths of our consciousness that we cannot go on in the same way.
New Moons are not dramatic in the usual sense. With the feeling of something having run its course or hitting a brick wall, it’s more of an inner moment of clarity on matters, unlike Full Moons which instead culminate. But this is an eclipse also.
The exposure and saturation that we are immersed within is at its peak. So there is a sense of no going back, with the drama of a full moon. What’s interesting also, is that this saturation is in the inner and outer atmosphere. That’s inside of us, and circulating around.
Let’s just call it a saturation of information, for the sake of simplicity. Outside is information stacked on top of information—narratives, commentaries, agendas, leaks. Inside is confusion, distraction, disconnection and instability.
Most of us are depleted from saturation rather than crisis. The information coming out is important and some of it feels important to witness; at the same time turning away from it can feel like shrinking from truth. Yet the volume is overwhelming and relentless. It’s too much input, too much accumulation, leaving too much to interpretation, and there are too many layers over information which leaves the ground muddied and heavy.
If we keep consuming at this rate, without noticing ourselves in the process, then we become heavy with the knowledge and truth; yet if we step entirely back, it can feel like we’re abandoning responsibility. The bind is one of capacity. And the task now is learning how to stay awake and discerning without absorbing more than we can metabolise.
We are at the beginning of this, incidentally, despite what it might appear for some who have been in this world of truth for many years. For those who have tracked systemic corruption for a long time, the current exposure can feel like confirmation or culmination. Yet collectively, this is an early phase. What feels overwhelming now is simply the first layer becoming visible to a wider field. Awareness is only just beginning to widen.
We are nowhere near any real integration. Even the initial shock phase has barely begun, let alone the slower work of digesting what is surfacing and translating it into next steps. What we are entering now is only the reaction phase. And with Saturn and Neptune newly activated in Aries, thankfully the path now shifts from massive exposure to ignition. As we will see, responses will become faster and more personal. The processing will come much later.
For now, the systems many relied on for stability, protection, or moral authority feel less opaque, and the confidence in them is rapidly evaporating. Their backbones and mechanics become visible, along with the their drives and the incentives that sustain them. We now see who ultimately benefits from them, and with that their neutrality is now unquestionable.
What we must be aware of is that there is a constant pressure to take the lotus of awareness that should be by and large within ourself, and place it outside. This is going to create instability. Bring it back in, feels instable. The shoe doesn’t fit. How can we work this balance? Digital world is unavoidable in most of our lives. Even if we leave it, we are still impacted by the exposure to the digital environment – by its impact but by other people also strognly impacted.
There is a constant pull to shift our centre of awareness outward—into screens, feeds and reaction—and when our attention lives primarily outside us, instability follows because we begin orienting from a weak position.
Our direct experience has been mediated out of the equation. First-hand experience no longer sets the baseline for reality. Instead of sensing, testing, and knowing through direct contact, we filter everything through a collective digital interpretation. Reality has been negotiated away before it is even experienced.
And withdrawal alone will not resolve this, since the digital environment is woven into daily life and continues to affect us through the people and systems around us. Immersed in a digital environment, everything happens at once. The stimulus, the reaction and interpretation collapse into the same moment. Meanwhile, the boundary between what is happening and what is being said about what is happening grows increasingly porous.
The task is to keep the axis of awareness rooted inward while engaging outward more consciously, taking in information and then returning to centre so that our lived experience, and not amplification, determines what is truly relevant and how much of our attention it deserves.
Our stabiliser has been “I am this” or “I stand here” or “we believe this.” But this is no longer enough, because beneath these identities the ground continues to shift and we are no longer securely anchored in them. If we try to hold our position tight, we grow increasingly unstable.
Aquarius Eclipse
This Aquarius Solar Eclipse arrives inside all of this. This is the first of three North Node Aquarius eclipses over the coming two years. It arrives on 17 February at 12:01 GMT in the final, anaretic degree of Aquarius. At the 29th degree, time is compressed—situations now accelerate toward a conclusion, signaling that many chapters have reached their limit.
As an annular (not total) eclipse, the Moon passes directly in front of the Sun but is slightly further away from Earth than usual, so it does not completely cover the Sun. Instead of total darkness, there is a bright ring of sunlight visible around the edges of the Moon. Hence the “ring of fire”.
In human terms, something central in our lives now loses its assumed, unquestionable stability and centre; yet it does not disappear, not yet anyway. The clarity on where it works and where it creates stress is now clearer—and this shift in perception inevitably alters how you relate to this central element of our lives. So it continues, but under the pressure of the perimeter being seen.
This annular eclipse sits 8 degrees from the North Node in Pisces and Venus nestled on the North Node, a benevolent omen. Venus rising as Evening Star and conjunct the North Node in Pisces asks us to consider what we aligning with right now—whether we are directing our time, values, resources and attention toward something real in our lives, or being swept up by mood, story and the emotional climate. This is the time to draw a clear line around what truly deserves your energy.
Neptune and Saturn came together on the Aries Point on Valentine’s Day, the point of ignition for the physical plane. The eclipse now highlights this shift. The Aries Point is where the personal meets the collective, where the boundaries between fact and fiction blur. As they together occupy the zone of the “I am’, there is a thinning of the boundary between individual and collective experience. It is hard to know where we begin and where we end.
Saturn brings reality to the surface and asks for proof. Neptune washes away what was imagined, exaggerated, or blindly followed. Together in Aries, they force a reckoning between what we claim as selfhood and what we can, in reality, actually stand behind. They ask us to turn belief into action and expose where our convictions lack foundation. The question shifts away from what we say we are, to now how we live and more importantly take responsibility for our lives.
Look to your chart and the house where Saturn and Neptune are now transiting at the cusp of Aries; this area marks where this conjunction begins to take shape in your life. Then look to the house Mars rules in your chart, since Mars governs Aries; this will show where the impulse toward action, assertion, and restructuring is likely to express itself during this new, lengthly cycle of Saturn–Neptune.
Pluto is now firmly in Aquarius, which these forthcoming Aquarius eclipses will also enfold. Now the deeper structures behind collective life are being exposed at root level. The Aquarius eclipses intensify our awareness of how influence circulates and how our attention is channelled, segmented, and steered. This feeds the very saturation we are feeling because the once invisible is becoming harder to ignore.
This eclipse forms a tight square to Uranus in Taurus, bringing the collective conversation down to earth. Ideas, narratives and identity positions can no longer remain abstract and intangible; they begin to show up in tangible ways, most importantly the body’s sense of safety and belonging.
The Uranus square points to instability within arrangements we assumed were stable, where what felt secure begins to behave unpredictably, requiring adjustments. Uranus disturbs what has been taken for granted; the consequences of our position, belief and actions are now more felt. It could be a time when boundary lines are drawn, where amplified, saturated atmospheres suddenly meet everyday reality, and where finally attention must return to what actually sustains life.
With Neptune and Saturn now in fiery Aries, the elemental shift into air and fire intensifies. Pluto firmly in Aquarius, Uranus direct and active, the Nodes in Aquarius and Leo for the next two years, and the beginning of a Fire Horse year all point toward acceleration, ignition, and movement.
For now, Jupiter in watery Cancer lends a feeling tone around safety, protection, and belonging. In April, Uranus moves into air-sign Gemini, and in July Jupiter enters fire-sign Leo. This removes the remaining earth–water containment. From that point, momentum accelerates, and grounding becomes essential.
Ceres is closely aligned with Chiron and Eris which activates ancestral patterns that revolve around over-responsibility, neglect, and displaced anger. Clearer boundaries support our vitality and preserve strength for what genuinely requires your attention. Again, come to back to this to regain your centre.
This is a time to identify where your life is weak and address it more directly. What holds importance now are the fundamentals: your skills, knowledge, practical resources, your daily rhythms, and relationships grounded in real presence. Saturn in Aries rewards the disciplined and initiative, and Neptune in Aries tests whether your ideals can withstand pressure and translate into action. If we have been on pause, we might feel the generator kicking in again.
So as the system continues to unabatedly show its edges and the pace increases, we need to ask where our energy truly belongs and what we are amplifying through our participation. Saturn–Neptune in Aries asks what you are prepared to stand for in lived form. The simplest fact remains steady: you are here, in a body, on this planet, at this time, and no network overrides that.
Fire Horse
We move from a Yin Wood Snake year into a Yang Fire Horse year, and the tonal shift is unmistakable. The Snake has carried an inward, strategic intelligence, growing through patience, recalibration, and subtle repositioning beneath the surface. Its expression has been measured and observant, adjusting to changing terrain through timing and restraint. Much of the recent year has unfolded through subtle consolidation rather than a visible ignition.
The Horse carries a different current. Yang Fire expresses outwardly, seeking motion, visibility, and decisive action. Where the Snake studied and recalibrated, the Horse advances and accelerates. What has been gathering heat now seeks release through movement; this new Chinese year carries velocity.
This transition builds on the wider pattern of the air and fire signatures, which the Fire Horse amplifies and accelerates at a collective level. Processes already in motion gather speed, and tensions that have been contained move toward expression. Reaction times will shorten and initiative rises.
Fire Horse years heighten courage, independence, and impatience with stagnation. They favour those who can direct energy with clarity and stamina. They expose scattered effort quickly and reward disciplined propulsion. In this climate, momentum builds outward, and what has been coiled within the snake year, and the systems, institutions, and individuals unfurl, like stored tension in a drawn bow finally released into forward motion.
The task within Fire Horse energy remains consistent with the eclipse themes. Movement requires clear orientation. And the new accessible speed needs our grounding. Fire becomes a constructive force when guided with discipline and responsibility, and it becomes destabilising when driven by impulse alone.
Your Orientation
This eclipse calls for inner consolidation before outward acceleration.
Fire Horse energy gathers speed quickly when it lacks grounding; Aquarius disperses attention across wide networks; and Uranus disrupts the material field through sudden shifts. Saturn and Neptune in Aries bring the focus back to personal responsibility, asking each person to ground their direction in clear, lived action instead of reaction or projection. Stability arises through deliberate alignment and a clear willingness to stand behind one’s choices in lived form.
So, we need to draw energy back from abstract outrage and place it in embodied action. Skills matter in volatile periods because they give you practical capacity and room to respond. Land and access to food matter because they root life in material continuity and reduce dependency on unstable systems. Physical presence matters because it keeps awareness grounded in direct experience instead of all this online mediated interpretation.
We need to remember that contained fire becomes a strong propulsion. If we have been holding back our fire until now, this is not a bad thing. But the time is now. We are ripe to start directing that effort, slow and steady, generating consistent momentum that builds real traction over time.
Choose one thing and enact it daily in tangible form. Build redundancy into essential areas of life, which means do not rely on a single point of support for what keeps you together. Anchor your life in structures that withstand the volatility circulating, preferably your inner being also.
