This Full Moon in Virgo is precise on Thursday, March 5th 2015 at 18.06 am. We are moving into peak energies again now with the final culmination of the Uranus Pluto square on 16th March at 15 degrees Aries and Capricorn respectively. There are extraordinary changes occurring right now in people’s lives, with a strong focus on big endings and big new beginnings. With Uranus and Pluto, it might just all feel very unexpected and shaky. So remember it’s a time when we are being challenged to trust in endings signifying the beginning of new life. The temptation is to get pulled into thinking that the quantum leaps we are being asked to make are too big, or that life is tinged with the feeling of it being just too unfair, too full of challenges and no rest bite.
In reality though, most unexpected changes can be anticipated. There’s always an opportunity for us to access a place of awareness that shows us that change is on the horizon and we need to ready or start to make conscious what’s unconscious in us. Of course this is not always easy and besides life perhaps isn’t meant to be predictable.
Usually when things are not quite feeling right in our lives and we can’t somehow move things forward, or what should be or used to work for us isn’t working any longer, then usually a shift is required to realign us on our true path. Often though, changes that come out of the blue do so in such a way as to challenge us to step outside our comfort zone – they need to be surprises (or shocks) so we access and unfamiliar parts of ourselves and draw on inner strength, faith and trust that we didn’t know we had. Humans seem to like going through life this way, building up endurance and strength the hard way.
I guess we are learning that if we can maintain that trust in things happening for our highest good (regardless of whether it feels that way), instead of falling into rejecting the reality we are faced with by saying ‘it shouldn’t be happening like this’, then we begin to create new powerful belief patterns. This, in turn, creates a reality that ultimately, over time, reflects a more supportive, peaceful experiencing of life.
This doesn’t mean that we will never experience bad things happening again, as emotions triggered at first often ‘feel’ bad. What it does mean is that we will swiftly transition out of that place of it feeling bad to it just feeling what it feels, without a label. Our emotions are essentially sensations in the body which when accessed deeply can transport us into dimensions and essences way beyond our normal one dimensional labels (i.e. depression, anxiety). Most of our so-called problems result from a linear being and thinking – we need to start seeing beyond labels like ‘depression’, ‘anxiety’, ‘anger’ into the actual experience. We need to get curious about these experiences, rather than just want to get rid. Surely this is one of the primary sicknesses of the soul.
Why am I saying all this? Well, because these full moon energies and the building, final Uranus Pluto square of the series of seven could be that final push for many people, that point of no return where our hand is forced and we must take a risk, consciously choosing to endanger our familiar sense of safety and identity and all that we cling to so we can move beyond ourselves. We don’t need to continue playing out a victim role in life so we fit in because others can’t handle our trust in the bigger picture and ultimate perfection of life.
Some of us might be now facing in a new direction or be clearer on where we need to go or be, but the steps to get I think for most will still be blurry. For the past week, the widening Sun Neptune conjunction has been contributing an obscure, vague and, to say the least, foggy dimension to life, while at the same time tapping us into a huge reservoir of faith and trust in the larger picture, if we so choose to access the higher portal of this combination.
It might be useful to have some dates around all this potent energy as dates help us stay focused on the bigger picture, knowing that transits eventually pass and the magic is revealed. Venus touches Uranus on the 4th March and therefore at the same time makes an aspect to Pluto. Mars does the same slightly later on the 11th March. Venus and Mars have been dancing close together for a while now since their conjunction last week. This brings some drama and conflict to our relationships – relationships of all kinds are in focus. With the outer planets clearly in the mix now, the energy is intensified with a sense that we might be starting to cut to the chase, calling ultimatums, or getting in touch with our deeper needs, desires and limitations.
This full Moon is making an uncomfortable quincunx to the Venus, Mars and Uranus conjunction. This triggers also the Uranus Pluto square. So while now there’s a dawning sense of what needs to change, at the same time, the quincunx suggests there’s still no clear answer or resolution for now – how things will ultimately fall into place or work out is yet to be seen.
Feeling like there’s no clear direction to move in while still knowing that ultimately moves need to be made can be frustrating – the sense of impasses or being blocked and we are is often just a simple case of the timing not quite being right. Nothing quite seems to fit, just try to relax as much as you can and let your body guide you in the steps necessary. The action will soon need to be taken, but things are not quite ripe for this yet. This is where we have to trust that the right timing and opportunity will appear as if by magic when the moment is right.
On 11th March, Mars conjuncts Uranus and squares Pluto which will most likely trigger a strong sense of ok, its ‘right now’ or never. This urgency reinforces the idea that we need to start looking our situation differently, from a higher, wider perspective. We might be pushed or pulled to make impulsive decisions, so take the time to feel into things and resist being taken by the urgency of Uranus and obsessive nature of Pluto. Work with it more on an essence level, rather than literally or unconsciously following through with action. We may be feeling in the middle of some prolonged tension so we must keep our awareness close to us. Beautifully, on 8th March the Sun conjoins Chiron opening us up to new awareness and inner strength, inviting us to see yet another dimension of our experience.
What I love most about these energies is that we are slowly but surely getting totally tuned in to what we need for the next leg of our journey. We are close to making decisions that will lead to happier times, a clearer focus, more practical solutions and less make-do. It’s amazing, actually, how often we settle for things that are only just good enough. We don’t need to do this anymore. This full moon is an invitation to get clear on what you want, need and demand, yes that’s a strong word but its our birth right to demand our divinity supplies, it yearns for us to do this with our love, power and wisdom. We don’t need to live in lack and limitation, it’s a choice brought about through our disconnection from Source and lack of belief in our deserving what we need to be happy. This full moon and this final Pluto Uranus square is the beginning of the end of these age old, tired belief and behaviour patterns. Lets all embrace and call our higher selves to be in complete service to our highest good and bring our whole beings into alignment with that so we can begin to live out a powerful new consciousness for ourselves and our world.
